Every year QCRC organizes fundraise events that help our club maintain our equipment, purchase parts, oars, boats and support rowers through scholarship funds for kids and adults that help them pay for club fees, travel and race fees every year.

Your support is crucial to continue to grow as a grass roots community club that is all inclusive.

Fundraising events for 2026:
We are all in the same boat! For over 10 years, QCRC has defied the odds, navigating through some choppy waters to succeed and thrive. Our community is strong, and our goals continue to push us to achieve more. We all want a club that is equipped with more boats, trailers, oars and racing shells for our top junior and master crews.

Our resilience coupled with the generosity of generations of QCRC members continue to build the dream. Our goals are ambitious: we aim to raise $40k to fund several boats that need to be refurbished, fund future projects to improve our infrastructure to provide better service and safety for our members and the possibility of purchasing a quad. Be a part of this story-our shared love for rowing for all!

• QCRC Summer Party on 9/19 from 5-9PM at 5701 Kellogg Avenue: Join us for a fun event with unlimited beer sponsored by Dead Low Brewery, Sam Adams, Wine, Hotdogs, Hamburgers, non alcoholic drinks, vegetarian options, sides, cake… 

• Party entrance fee: Adults and rowers, $30, kids under 7, FREE,  kids 7-12, $15 - Please use QCRC Venmo (@Queen_City_Rowing_Treasurer)

• Purchase QCRC gear, uniforms and hats at the party!

• Boat naming rights: We have 4 boats that need names. $1,500 will have your name or anything you want to put on the bow of one of our boats.

• Oar naming rights: One pair of sculling or sweeping oars, $200 

• Raffle tickets for amazing prizes, including a YETI cooler, a Dead Low Brewing experience, one season of Masters coached training, one season of Youth training, a Viking Club day pass with pool and outdoor access, a Jungle Jim’s wine box curated by Pedro, gift cards, fun rowing experiences like a double with Pedro, create your own boat lineup or a row with a QCRC elite rower, and much more!

Queen City Rowing Club (QCRC) is a community of sculling and sweep rowers. We build our membership from the bottom by all rowers learning to row singles and from there become part of the bigger boats such as doubles, quads, fours and eights. More and more, members are using the team boats to enjoy friendships, race partners and experience the team work. QCRC plans to go big in 2027! Be part of our big picture by helping us keep our boats in safe and top race shape!
